PRIVACY & COOKIES

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy explains how Road to Recovery (“we”, “us”), based in Loughrea, Co. Galway, handles the personal information you give us through this website, and the cookies it uses. We only collect what we need to reply to you and quote for your job.

What we collect

When you fill in our enquiry form, we receive the details you enter:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your club or company name, if you give it
• Details of your booking or event: what it is about, preferred date, location, number of people and any message you add

If you call, email or message us, we receive whatever you send us that way.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, give you a quote and carry out any work you ask us to do. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.

Who processes it

Our booking and events enquiry forms are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website. Enquiries are emailed to us at info@roadtorecovery.ie (Google Workspace). Session bookings and payments are handled by Wunderbook, under its own privacy policy. We don’t share your details with anyone else unless we need to for your job, or unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that, we delete them.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. To do so, email info@roadtorecovery.ie or call 086 063 6654. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

We use an analytics cookie only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, or ignore the banner, none of them are set. We store your choice in your browser so we don’t ask again on every page.

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, set by Google, kept for up to 2 years) counts visits and shows us which pages people use, so we can improve the site.

You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings.

Other third-party services used on this site:

• Wunderbook handles session bookings and payments. When you click a Book button you go to Wunderbook’s site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site. Your browser fetches them from Google, which sees your IP address but sets no cookies.
• WhatsApp: if you tap a WhatsApp link, you leave this site for WhatsApp (Meta), under its own policy.

You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
